Overview

The report presents LGIM Real Assets' inaugural account of responsible and sustainable investment across real assets. It describes a commitment to achieve net-zero carbon across the real estate platform by 2050 or sooner and a review of science-based targets to 2030. Its latest available real-estate equity data, as at December 2021, reports Scope 1 of 4,273 tCO2 and location-based Scope 2 of 11,558 tCO2, while Scope 3 is not reported. The private-credit section explains how ESG is incorporated into investment decisions and borrower engagement.
