Overview

The report covers the Group's 2018 operations across lead-acid battery manufacturing and lead recycling. It reports 399,116 tonnes carbon dioxide equivalent of GHG generation, 20,136 tonnes of hazardous waste and 5,773 tonnes of non-hazardous waste. The Group had 10,420 employees at 31 December 2018 and recorded no fatal work-related incident. It also describes solar energy use, water recycling, environmental management systems, occupational safety training and community support.
