Overview

The report presents LNER's 2022/23 responsible-business progress across People, Places and Planet. It highlights a 50% emissions reduction since 2018/19 and reports total carbon emissions of 100,699 tCO2e, alongside a commitment to reach net zero across scopes 1 and 2 by 2045. It also reports 3,220 colleagues and over £23m of Social and Local Economic Value unlocked across procurements.
