Sustainability Charter

Overview

The report presents PHW Group's 2022 sustainability priorities across animal welfare, climate action, circular economy and social responsibility. It reports that more than 95% of German poultry production comes from six animal-welfare programmes, while six sites are climate-neutral and seven operations use green electricity. The charter sets a 30% reduction target for Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions at German production sites by 2030 against 2019/20, alongside a climate-neutral-operations ambition for all German production sites by 2040.
