Overview

The report presents Lorenz's seven sustainability action fields under People & Planet, with packaging and consumer health and nutrition as particular priorities. It reports a 2019 group carbon footprint of 414 kt CO2e and sets a value-chain net-zero goal for 2045, alongside a 50% Scope 1 and Scope 2 reduction goal by 2030. In 2020, Lorenz supported 500,000 sqm of bee-friendly sowing in Poland and 6,000 sqm of flowering paths in Germany. The company also signed the UN Global Compact in December 2020.
