Overview

The report describes the November 2023 opening of the Cacuilo School, funded with US$2 million from SML and equipped with solar power and water infrastructure. It highlights Mothae's support for 12 student bursaries and ZAR 1.5 million of local produce purchases. Safety performance included no operational fatalities recorded and improved LTIFR at Lulo and Mothae. Environmental work expanded through rehabilitation and revegetation of more than 15 mining blocks covering 6.5 million square metres.
