Overview

The report presents Magna's 2023 sustainability performance and its transition to a net-zero operating model. It reports SBTi-verified net-zero target by 2050, near-term reductions of 42% in Scopes 1 and 2 and 25% in Scope 3, and 2023 emissions of 424,561 t Scope 1, 1,150,656 t market-based Scope 2 and 58,655,441 t Scope 3 baseline. Resource metrics include 5,577,127 MWh total energy, 12.9% renewable energy, 1,365,712 t waste and 6,571 ML withdrawals. Governance is led by the Board and its committees, while the report highlights CDP score B and independent validation of Scope 1, Scope 2 and water-withdrawal data.
