Overview

The report describes Maybank's 2012 sustainability performance across community investment, environmental management and workplace initiatives. Group employee volunteerism reached 21,147 employees, 178,422 hours and 153 community initiatives. Employee engagement was 85%, while Maybank set a 10% absolute GHG reduction target from 2011 levels by 2015. The report's sustainability data was independently verified by Bureau Veritas using limited assurance.
