Overview

The report is Masteel's first Sustainability & Climate Change Report and establishes 2020 as a baseline for future reporting. It covers sustainability initiatives and performance across the reporting period and reports ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 certifications obtained in December 2020. The company discloses 1,164 t/CO2 of Scope 1 emissions and 215,969 t/CO2 of Scope 2 emissions, alongside a TCFD-aligned climate-change section. It also reports 837 employees and around 38,617 tonnes of solid waste generated in 2020.
