Corporate Sustainability Report

Overview

The report describes Mastercard's 2018 sustainability work across inclusive growth, workforce inclusion, environmental stewardship and ethical operations. Together with partners, the company reached more than 400 million people previously excluded from financial services. It sourced renewable energy for 100% of global operations and reduced Scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions 42% from the 2016 base year. The report also highlights Mastercard's approved science-based 20% emissions-reduction target for 2025.
