Overview

The report describes MCB's sustainability approach and stakeholder engagement, including adherence to the United Nations Global Compact and adoption of the Equator Principles. The MCB Forward Foundation received Rs 53.8 million and spent Rs 43.2 million across 56 projects during FY 2011/12. Environmental initiatives included Initiative 175, recycling, reusable-bag distribution, and green-loan financing. Workforce initiatives included Group-wide HR development, health and safety activities, and 40,234 total training man-hours reported across internal and external providers.
