Overview

The report presents MEC's 2021 sustainability activities across environmental, labor, supply-chain, safety, and community topics. Environmental highlights include approximately 21% scrap reduction, LED installation at nearly all owned facilities, and an 8.5% reduction in energy intensity since 2018. MEC also launched wellness and employee-appreciation initiatives and implemented COVID-19 controls, while 99% of materials were purchased from U.S. suppliers. The report additionally describes ongoing community support and engagement.
