Overview

The report presents Mediahuis's second journalistic annual report, using climate change as its central theme. It showcases how news brands across Belgium, the Netherlands, Ireland, Luxembourg and Germany covered climate issues through investigative reporting, local projects, citizen surveys and practical guidance. The report also describes the IMPACT sustainability programme, built around pluralism, trust, transparency and knowledge sharing. In October 2021, Mediahuis joined the Science Based Targets initiative and committed to an ambitious emissions reduction aimed at limiting global warming to 1.5°C.
