Overview

The report presents Medibank's first Sustainability Report, describing a formal materiality assessment, six SDG priorities, FY20 environmental metrics and carbon-neutral operations, together with detailed workforce, community and governance achievements. It reports 3,982 employees, 63% women on the Board, 4,047.38 MWh of energy usage and 12,652.2 t CO2-e/year of total GHG emissions. It also states that Medibank has been carbon neutral within direct emissions and energy consumption since the end of 2018 and has a future carbon-neutral commitment across Scopes 1, 2 and 3 for FY21.
