Overview

The report describes Messe Berlin's 2022 event-business recovery while reporting 60,000 MWh of total energy consumption and a 60% renewable-energy share. It reports 551 t of base-load waste and 3,354 t from events, alongside Scope 1 emissions from heating, cooling, electricity and company vehicles and no Scope 2 emissions. Sustainability governance was being formalized through a sustainability manager, a cross-functional team, a roadmap and a materiality-analysis phase.
