Overview

The report is Messe Düsseldorf GmbH’s first voluntary sustainability report, presenting its CSR strategy across four action dimensions, 13 focus topics and eight essential SDGs. It reports a first Scope 1, 2 and 3 inventory for the Düsseldorf site, with assessed-category emissions falling 48 percent from 2019 to 2023 and the comparable footprint declining from 22,382 to 11,746 metric tons CO2. It also highlights energy-efficiency gains, including up to 52 percent lower specific electricity consumption, and a 629-person workforce supported by training and diversity initiatives.
