Overview

The report is Messer's first stand-alone Sustainability Report for 2025 and presents consolidated information on a calendar-year basis. It describes a 2025 double materiality assessment covering upstream, own operations and downstream value chains, and explains climate accounting under the GHG Protocol. The company reports 13,060,193 MWh of total energy, 355,753 metric tons of CO2e Scope 1 emissions, and 5,355,771 metric tons of CO2e Scope 3 emissions. It also reports 12,257 employees and one contractor fatality, alongside governance, workforce, business conduct, and cybersecurity disclosures.
