Overview

The report describes Metinvest's 2021 sustainability performance, including workforce expansion to 86,955 employees and 14 work-related fatalities across employees and contractors. It reports 24.8 million tonnes of Scope 1 CO2 emissions and 3.1 million tonnes of location-based Scope 2 CO2 emissions. Water consumption reached 639 million cubic metres, while industrial waste generation reached 270 million tonnes, 99% non-hazardous.
