Overview

The report presents MFS's ESG integration through its Responsible Investing Committee and Sustainability Group, and details systematic research, proxy voting, and engagement. During the 2017 proxy period, MFS was eligible to vote on more than 24,000 ballot items across 57 markets and voted at approximately 99% of eligible meetings. Its proxy team also conducted 260 engagements with 185 distinct portfolio companies across 16 markets.
