Environmental Report

Overview

The report presents Minebea Group's fiscal 2006 environmental burden across 28 plants in nine countries, including 813,003,000 kWh of electricity, 3,854,000 m3 of water input and 513,666 tons of CO2 emissions. It reports waste streams of 22,838 tons transported outside the Company, 15,751 tons reused or recycled externally and 4,240 tons disposed of as landfill. The report also records full RoHS compliance achieved in March 2006 and the publication of the Minebea Group Green Procurement Standard, 2nd Edition.
