Overview

The report presents MISC Group's 2015 sustainability performance across its shipping, offshore, engineering and maritime education businesses. It describes sustainability governance through the Board Charter, Management Committee, HSE Council and Sustainability Steering Committee, and reports preparation in accordance with GRI G4. Group revenue was RM10,908.4 mil, while the workforce table recorded 10,380 employees and zero workplace fatalities. Environmental disclosures include a reviewed GHG inventory, 4,403 thousand tonnes of Scope 1 emissions, 33,057 tonnes of CO2 emissions avoided through green technology, and 1,811 thousand m3 of water consumption.
