Overview

The report presents MHI's Group-wide CSR activities around ties with the Earth, society, and the next generation. It reports 513,000 tons of CO2 emissions from energy use in fiscal 2008 against a 6% reduction target from 1990 levels for fiscal 2008-2012. It also reports 67,416 consolidated employees, 151,000 tons of waste output, extensive employee participation in environmental activities, and increasing female representation among recruits and managers.
