Overview

The report presents the Group's FY2017 sustainability statement across economic, environmental and social themes and operations in Malaysia, Indonesia and China. It describes a materiality identification workshop and a governance structure in which the Board oversees sustainability with support from a Sustainability Reporting Committee. Environmental actions include rainwater harvesting, solar photovoltaic installations and zero-burning practices, while social contributions totaled RM 1.6 million and included scholarships for 130 students.
