Overview

The report explains how the Morinaga Group identified five materialities through stakeholder and internal evaluations and established an ESG Committee to lead Group-wide sustainability initiatives. It sets 2030 targets for sustainable procurement, CSR supply-chain management and food-loss reduction. Environmental priorities include a 30% reduction in CO2 emissions by FY2031/3 and a net-zero GHG goal by FY2051/3. The section also describes human-rights management, diversity and inclusion, quality assurance and water-resource management.
