Overview

The report highlights MTY's first GHG Inventory Report and FY2024 measurement of Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions, totaling 33,641.18 tonnes of carbon dioxide equivalent on a location-based basis. It reports 7,546 dedicated employees and 496,308 GJ of energy consumed across operations. Food-sourcing progress includes 84% of suppliers confirming animal-welfare policies aligned with MTY requirements and 56% of contracted eggs from cage-free or enriched environments. Waste initiatives diverted 13.5 metric tonnes of food waste and over 82.5 metric tonnes of cardboard from landfills.
