Overview

The report introduces the Group's first Sustainability Statement under Bursa Malaysia's Listing Requirements, applying the Sustainability Reporting Guide and seeking further GRI guidance. It describes Board responsibility and Risk and Sustainability Committee oversight, alongside a materiality identification and prioritisation process covering economic, environmental and social matters. FY2019 initiatives included energy-saving training, LED lighting replacement, rainwater harvesting and recycled water use, as well as acid recovery and zinc-ash processing projects.
