Overview

The report presents National Gas Transmission's 2023/24 environmental performance under the RIIO-T2 framework. It reports 380,543 tCO2e of Scope 1 and 2 emissions, a net-zero commitment for 2050 with an ambition to achieve it by 2040, and retrospective updates to prior-year carbon data after adding emissions categories. Office and operational waste totaled 990 metric tonnes, with a 51% recycling rate.
