Responsible Business Report

Overview

The report presents National Grid's 2022/23 responsible-business performance across environment, communities, people, economy and governance. It reports Scope 1 and 2 emissions of 7,245 ktCO2e and a 37.5% Scope 3 reduction target by 2033/34. Community investment reached £47.7 million, while 29,440 employees and 1,092,224 training hours were reported. The report also records two work-related fatalities, describes rebaselined GHG performance, and states alignment with GRI, TCFD and SASB plus limited PwC assurance.
