Overview

The report describes NatWest Group's 2023 progress toward a 2050 net-zero ambition across financed emissions, assets under management and its operational value chain. Operational Scope 1 and location-based Scope 2 emissions were reduced by 54% against the 2019 baseline, while operational value chain Scope 3 emissions totaled 603,827 tCO2e and fell 26% against that baseline. The report also records 61,600 employees at year end and 40% women's representation on the Board.
