Overview

The report describes sustainability as integrated into Nedbank Group's business practices and as central to long-term financial prosperity, social and environmental responsibility, and accessibility. In 2007 the group contributed more than R44,1 million to community projects through its foundation, trusts and payroll giving. It also reports fourth-consecutive-year inclusion in the JSE SRI Index and Dow Jones World Sustainability Index, while issuing a separate detailed sustainability report.
