Overview

The report presents Nedbank's 2016 sustainability performance across responsible finance, direct operations and stakeholder partnerships. It highlights R14,1bn in 2016 empowerment financing, 1 162 MW of renewable energy enabled, and R141m in group CSI support. Operationally, the group reported 207 975,88 tCO2e of total GHG emissions, 316 278 kL of water consumption and carbon neutrality since 2010. The workforce comprised 32 401 staffmembers, with 17,6% female board representation.
