Creating Shared Value Report

Overview

The report is Nestlé Malaysia's fourth Creating Shared Value report, covering initiatives, achievements and challenges across community, environment, workplace and marketplace. It identifies Nutrition, Water and Rural Development as core value-creation priorities and highlights a 6.5% reduction in water consumption per tonne of product to 5.20 m3 per tonne in 2009. Workplace safety also improved, with total accidents reported at 9 cases and the lost-time injury frequency rate at 0.70.
