Overview

The report describes the company’s 2019/20 environmental performance, including a 6.1 per cent improvement against the Scope 1 and 2 emissions baseline and a 25 per cent CP6 reduction target. It reports 201,414.8 tCO2e of gross emissions from gas, fleet fuel and purchased electricity, supported by 815,208,611 kWh of calculated total energy use. Waste performance improved, with 98 per cent diversion from landfill for non-hazardous waste, while an Environmental Sustainability Advisory Committee was established to guide strategy.
