Overview

The report presents NGK's first CSR Report, expanding its prior environmental and social reporting to cover broader stakeholder responsibilities. It describes consolidated environmental management covering NGK, 13 Japanese manufacturing group companies, and 17 overseas manufacturing group companies. Environmental highlights include 151,000 tons of CO2 from NGK in fiscal 2008 and 330,000 tons from overseas group companies, alongside 14,400 tons of by-products generated in Japan.
