Sustainability Report

Overview

The report describes NIBE's 2012 sustainability performance across environmental, social and economic responsibility. Highlights include purchasing green electricity for European operations, with close to half of energy needs met from renewable sources, while carbon dioxide emissions fell to approximately 19,000 tonnes. The Group reports 8,006 average full-time equivalents, 179 lost-work-case accidents and almost 75,000 training hours. It also reports a GRI G3.1 Level B approach and ongoing ISO 14001 and energy-efficiency initiatives.
