Overview

The report describes the Nippon Carbon Group's 2020 environmental performance across energy, greenhouse gases, water, waste, and environmental management. Group energy input was 42,337 crude oil equivalent, kl and greenhouse gas emissions were 90,377 t. Water input totaled 1,893,191 m3 versus 1,874,941 m3 discharged, while total waste discharge was 2,763 t and final disposal was 877 t. The Group also reports ISO 14001 certification at three principal manufacturing sites and zero environmental accidents in Japan.
