Overview

The report presents NORD/LB Group's 2023 sustainability performance, covering materiality, ESG governance, responsible banking, employees and operational environmental management. It reports 4,137 employees, 4,127 tonnes of market-based Scope 1-3 CO2e emissions, 36,014 m3 of water consumption and 826 tonnes of waste. The Group states that it signed the German financial sector climate commitment and is working toward a climate-neutral and net-zero financing portfolio by 2050. It also includes a limited assurance engagement over selected PRB sections and a GRI content index.
