Overview

The report presents Nordic Paper's 2017 environmental, social and economic performance across its Scandinavian pulp and paper operations. It reports approximately 21.5 million m3 of water consumed and 637 231 tonnes of total direct greenhouse gases, including 31 800 tonnes of fossil carbon dioxide. Socially, 623 average employees and 16 work injuries resulting in absence are disclosed, alongside health and safety efforts. The report also highlights FSC and PEFC certification, almost complete waste reuse, stakeholder engagement and anti-corruption controls.
