Overview

The report presents NGN's first RIIO-2 environmental performance review for 2021/22, reporting 4,785 tCO2e of Scope 1 and 2 emissions excluding shrinkage and 22,406 tCO2e of Scope 3 emissions across categories 1-6. It highlights 202,053 tonnes of waste generated, 8,100 trees directly funded across 18 sites, 100% zero-carbon electricity at NGN premises and infrastructure sites, and 46% biodiversity net gain from the Customer Energy Village project.
