Overview

The report presents NMG's 2021 ESG performance while its Matawinie Mine and Bécancour plant remained in development. It reports 93 permanent employees, 33,008 GJ of energy consumption, and 1,546 tonnes of CO2 equivalent in GHG emissions, alongside zero workplace fatalities. NMG also describes joining the UN Global Compact, endorsing TCFD recommendations, setting a Net Zero target for 2030, and establishing Board-level ESG oversight.
