Overview

The report presents NOVAGOLD's first stand-alone sustainability disclosure for 2021. It highlights zero lost-time incidents or fatalities and reports Scope 1 emissions of 1,084 metric tonnes of CO2 equivalent for the Donlin Gold project. The report also describes removal of approximately 180,000 pounds of hazardous materials from 26 Yukon-Kuskokwim villages and a workforce program in which 70% of Donlin Gold direct hires were Alaska Natives.
