Overview

The report describes NTPC's FY2011-12 sustainability performance during a period of major expansion, including 2,820 MW of new generation capacity commissioned. Environmental highlights include 50.05 million tonnes of ash generated and about 55% gainful utilization, alongside extensive water, biodiversity and emissions-management initiatives.
