Overview

The report presents NTPC's FY17 sustainability performance, including 250.31 BUs of electricity generation and total revenue of INR 79,342.30 Crores. It reports 20,593 regular employees within the reporting boundary and 11 fatalities among employees and contractors. Environmental priorities included renewable energy expansion, water conservation, zero liquid discharge, ash utilization, and emissions reduction. The report was independently assured by SR Asia under AA1000AS.
