Overview

The report describes NTT Group's fiscal 2018 scale, including 282,533 employees and consolidated operating revenue of ¥11,799.6 billion. It reports 17,100 thousand t-CO2e of Scope 3 emissions and discloses Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions in the same value-chain table. The environmental program sets fiscal 2031 goals for reducing society's CO2 emissions by at least 10 times NTT Group's own emissions, improving telecom power efficiency tenfold and achieving zero-emission waste disposal. Sustainability Accounting Co., Ltd. provided limited assurance over selected performance indicators, including emissions, water and waste.
