Community and Environment Report

Overview

The report presents Optus' 2003 Community and Environment program, prepared with reference to GRI 2002 guidelines. It reports approximately 157.5 gigawatt hours of electricity use in 2002/03, completed 10 contractor compliance audits, and recorded no environmental regulatory breaches or fuel leaks. It also describes community support for Kids Help Line, Starlight, and emergency response activities.
