Overview

The report describes OUCC's 2016 energy and greenhouse-gas performance, including total energy consumption of 2,453,194.83 GJ and Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions of 48,015 and 292,463 t-CO2e. It sets a 2017 greenhouse-gas reduction target of 3,210 tons and a medium-term average annual reduction objective of 1%. The report also documents extensive chemical safety, emergency response, and employee health and safety programs. SGS Taiwan independently assured the report using a moderate level of scrutiny and AA1000 Type 1 procedures.
