Overview

The report covers Origin's 12 months to 30 June 2009 and highlights the Australia Pacific LNG transaction, which left the company with no net debt and $5.3 billion in cash reserves and undrawn facilities. It reports 1,343 kt CO2e Scope 1+2 operational-control emissions, 10,452 tonnes of general waste, and no workplace fatalities. Origin also reports 4,198 employees excluding Contact Energy, a 40.8% female workforce, and 26.0% female management. Ernst & Young provided limited assurance over GRI application and operational-control GHG emissions for Upstream Oil and Gas and Generation.
