Overview

The report describes the Otsuka group's FY2024 progress toward its 2028 carbon-reduction target, including a 31.9% reduction from the 2017 baseline and 24,600 MWh of solar generation. It also presents group environmental-management initiatives covering renewable-energy procurement, water stewardship, circular packaging and biodiversity. The environmental data tables report 90,559 t of global waste and detailed Scope 1, Scope 2 and Scope 3 emissions. Third-party assurance by KPMG AZSA Sustainability Co., Ltd. covers Scope 1, Scope 2 and Scope 3 category 1 data.
