Overview

The report is Pacific Basin's first CSR report for 2011 and presents Group CSR KPIs focused on environmental and workplace responsibility. It reports a CO2 index of 8.66 grams per tonne-mile, one environmental pollution incident, and a 72% zero-deficiency rate in external inspections. Workplace disclosures include 12 lost-time injury incidents, a 1.37 LTIF, 64% external training for shore-based colleagues, and 37% female staff. The company also describes fleet-efficiency, anti-piracy, safety, anti-corruption, and community initiatives, including US$100,000 for tsunami relief.
