Overview

The report is Pacific Basin's first standalone CSR disclosure, covering its 2016 environmental, workplace, safety and community performance. It reports 1,028,000 metric tonnes of CO2 from the owned dry bulk fleet and a carbon intensity of 11.02 grams of CO2 per tonne-mile. The owned fleet recorded no marine pollution violations during 31,700 ship days. Workforce disclosures cover 3,000 seafarers, 330 shore-based staff and 12.5 average training hours per employee.
